The school has a strong community feel and a dedicated staff team committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment. They are looking for a reliable, proactive and experienced TA who can provide consistent classroom support and contribute effectively to pupil progress.

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning in core subjects such as English and Maths
• Providing additional support to pupils who need extra guidance
• Supporting pupils with varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in line with school policies
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

You will work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team to ensure pupils are supported both academically and socially.

• Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Have recent experience working within a primary school setting
• Have experience supporting pupils in KS2 (upper KS2 experience desirable)
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Be patient, adaptable and confident working with small groups
• Show initiative while also working effectively as part of a team
• Be reliable, professional and committed to supporting pupil progress
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN would be advantageous but is not essential
