Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work across primary and SEN school settings in Rochdale. This is a class‑based role supporting pupils across a range of year groups, with a strong focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Providing targeted support to pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs).
• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver individual support plans.
• Leading small group interventions and offering 1:1 support where required.
• Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion within the classroom.

• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level2 or Level3 preferred).
• Previous experience working in a school‑based TA role.
• Strong SEN experience is essential.
• Confidence working across different primary age groups.
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting learning.

• Experience across multiple key stages (EYFS‑KS2).
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
• Team Teach or similar behaviour training (advantageous but not essential).
