• Build strong, positive relationships with children.
• Support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Manage challenging behaviour with patience, consistency and care.
• Deliver engaging and nurturing learning opportunities.
• Work effectively as part of a dedicated staff team.

Experience of supporting personalised, multi-sensory learning approaches and developing speech, language and communication skills would be advantageous.

The successful applicant will be appointed at TA2 or TA3 level, depending on qualifications and experience, and will work 29 hours per week, term-time only, on a permanent contract. The position is available to commence as soon as possible.

• NVQ Level 2 or above qualification - appropriate to the post (or equivalent) - refer to attached person specification for TA2a & TA3
• Level 2 or equivalent in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy

• Safeguarding Children Training
• First Aid Training

• Experience of working with or caring for children in a primary school environment

• Experience of supporting multi-sensory personalised learning experiences
• Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
• Experience developing speech language and communication skills
• Experience working with pupils with additional needs and a commitment to helping them succeed
• Experience of supporting children with special educational needs
