A Mobile School Crossing Patrol is required in the Rossendale area, to act as a Mobile Relief providing cover for the fixed-point school crossing patrols due to absence and to cover vacant posts.

The applicant must have access to their own transport, business insurance and be able to travel to any of the crossings at short notice on a shift-by-shift basis. The crossing times vary but are generally in the region of 08:30 to 09:00 and 15:10 to 15:40, Monday to Friday during term time, which is 38 weeks a year. Pay is FLW, currently £13.45 an hour.

Payment is 5 hours a week with additional payment based on duty performed. Uniform and training are provided.

You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.

Candidates will be required to be DBS checked and satisfy medical suitability for the role along with providing 2 references.
