Location: Bacup

Rapid Recruit are currently recruiting for Refuse Collectors for our client based in Bacup. Youll be working as a Refuse Collector, supporting household, commercial and industrial waste collection in Bacup. This role is physically demanding and involves outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Key Duties:

Collecting household, commercial and industrial waste from various locations Loading waste into collection vehicles Returning bins to collection points Emptying public litter bins Collecting bulky items (e.g. furniture, carpets) Separating recyclable and non-recyclable materials Handling potentially hazardous waste safely (e.g., chemicals, medical waste). Requirements:
Physically fit Comfortable working outdoors in all weather Be able to start work early in the morning Able to follow safety procedures and risk assessments Experience is preferred but not essential. The usual working hours are Tuesday to Friday 6.45am-4.30pm but the shifts may be ad hoc. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
