Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of a leading international manufacturer based in Lancashire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing business and play a key role in new product introduction, process improvement, capital equipment projects and manufacturing optimisation.
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer:- Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) reviews for new products
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing industrialisation activities
- Manage capital investment and equipment improvement projects from concept through to implementation
- Conduct manufacturing risk assessments and PFMEA activities
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency and productivity
- Analyse manufacturing data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Investigate production issues and lead root cause analysis activities
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and production teams
To be a successful applicant, we are looking for:
- Previous experience within a Manufacturing Engineering position
- Experience working within an assembly or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience of process validation, risk assessments and PFMEA
- Proven experience delivering engineering or operational improvement projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
- CAD experience, ideally Autodesk Inventor
- Engineering qualification through degree or equivalent industry experience
