In this pivotal role, you will support the Heritage team and hold or be close to acquiring your Field Director status within the Interior Plateau Culture Area. Your focused leadership will ensure successful project execution and compliance with safety standards while maintaining respectful relations with Indigenous groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct archaeological surveys and testing in diverse environments
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
• Facilitate teamwork with junior staff and project partners
• Uphold health and safety protocols across all projects
• Produce and contribute to technical reports and proposals
Requirements:
• Active pursuit of Field Director qualifications
• Experience in identifying and evaluating archaeological sites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong writing skills for report preparation
• Valid driver’s license; safety certifications preferred
Lead impactful archaeological initiatives at WSP while working alongside Indigenous communities in BC.
