A consumer services company with about 20,000 employees across North America seeks Payroll Tax Administrator to join their growing team.

Must have Dayforce ERP

What you’ll do:

• Reconcile all quarterly and annual tax returns in Dayforce
• Prepare and file returns that Dayforce doesn't cover
• Manage Canadian tax returns
• Set up and verify multi-jurisdiction taxes at the employee level, including local taxes and reciprocity between states
• Update SUI rates and minimum wage rates
• Research and resolve tax notices for current and prior years
• Reconcile tax deposits and filings, and respond to agency and Dayforce inquiries
• Process prior and current period adjustments, plus stock, award and escheat tax entries
• Reconcile, prepare and distribute W-2s
• Prepare year-end postings, including fringe benefits

What you need:

• 2+ years of payroll tax experience
• Dayforce tax processing and reconciliation experience strongly preferred
• Multi-state and local payroll tax knowledge, including reciprocity
• Canadian payroll tax experience a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail oriented, with a sense of urgency and sound judgment under tight deadlines
