Summary

This position focuses on administrative duties, including handling calls, legal documents, and correspondence. You will work well in a team environment and can also work independently when needed. The role is a full‑time, on‑site position with no hybrid option. No legal experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Document scanning, copying and mailing.
  • Maintaining detailed logs and records of documents received and their chain of custody.
  • Filing legal documents in the dedicated file room.
  • Consistently and accurately updating case management systems.
  • Retrieving and responding to a variety of clients and internal firm requests via phone, email and workflow steps.
  • Learning basic legal documents and terminology.
  • Providing timely, courteous, and thorough responses to a heavy volume of email correspondence.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction.
  • Supporting attorneys in a high‑volume, time‑sensitive environment.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of client and borrower information and firm processes.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to carry 10 pounds or more.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Team‑oriented, congenial, and self‑motivated.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task and adapt to continual change.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma required; college degree strongly preferred.
  • Recent college graduate or 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Physical Demands

The employee will frequently sit for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

The work environment is a normal office setting with quiet to moderate noise levels. This is a full‑time onsite position Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly wage: $18.00–$22.00. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Employees accrue 15 days of PTO over the first five years and receive all federal holidays, a birthday holiday, and are part of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
