Site One is searching for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a key support member for business units across the organization, capable of triaging incoming requests, writing and executing SQL to pull and analyze data, highly organized, and a great communicator.

What You'll Do:

• Be a first responder for incoming Ad hoc requests, which include asks for data extracts, reporting issues, and general questions and data education.
• Be a part of a larger team, with overall responsibility for Data Management, Business Intelligence, and Analytics.
• Capable of triaging and escalating issues to the broader team based on severity and complexity.
• Perform administration of email subscriptions and daily processes.
• Perform Ad hoc analysis and provide insights to business partners.
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL queries driving legacy reports across Power BI/SSRS, Data Processes, and end-user exports.
• Develop/Enhance Power BI and Microsoft SSRS reports off existing semantic models.
• Maintain reporting and documentation standards.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or data analytics related field
• 2+ years of working experience with reading/writing SQL for the preparation of report development and analytics.
• Experience developing within SSRS, Power
  
  BI, or other visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and table design.
• Experience with large databases (1TB+) and optimizing code.
• Sense of curiosity with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
• Polished written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload and communicate timing and challenges.
• Desire to “roll up your sleeves”, disaggregate complex problems and simplify into executable solutions.
• A track record of following through with commitments independently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining multiple priorities, in a fluid and growing organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
