We are seeking a confident and experienced Substitute Teacher to provide reliable classroom support when teachers are absent. In this role, you will implement lesson plans, manage the classroom environment, monitor student progress, and facilitate daily learning activities.

Candidates must be flexible and prepared to step in as needed. At this time, we are specifically looking for individuals who are available on Mondays and Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Step into the role of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring effective classroom management and delivery of the assigned lesson plan.
• Follow the curriculum and instructional plans provided by the teacher.
• Execute lesson objectives and adhere to established classroom procedures.
• Supervise students both inside and outside the classroom, including hallways and cafeterias.
• Maintain compliance with all school policies and regulations.
• Take accurate attendance and maintain daily classroom records.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
• Manage daily classroom routines and activities efficiently.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field preferred.
• Valid or expired teaching certification, or a substitute teaching certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position (no benefits or paid time off).
• Compensation is issued twice per month.
• Schedule: Part-time (Monday and Friday availability required).
• Pay Rate: $120.00 – $130.00 per day.
