Mechanical Estimator (Commercial Plumbing and HVAC)

E. Escher Incorporated is a Georgia-based mechanical contractor incorporated in 1990. We self‑perform installation of piping, chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, etc., and subcontract sheet metal, insulation, and control work. Pipes include copper, PVC, carbon steel, various acid‑resistant plastics, cast iron and ductile iron. Joints include threaded, welded, mechanical. Projects are largely mechanical and plumbing, commercial, institutional, and industrial, ranging from $100k to $15M.

E. Escher Incorporated, a Metro Atlanta mechanical contracting company, is seeking a senior‑level estimator with at least 7+ years of experience in the mechanical contracting business. Projects include commercial, institutional, and industrial. This leadership role is responsible for revenue generation, site visits, cost control, team leadership, client relations, and technical management of various‑size projects. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Most projects are located throughout the Atlanta Metro Area.

• Superior Bid Proposal and Preparation
• Thorough knowledge of piping, plumbing and mechanical system operations
• Estimating, budget, cost control, scheduling and management of multiple bids
• Solid understanding of a wide variety of HVAC equipment and materials
• Existing vendor and subcontractor relationships
• In‑depth knowledge of system installations
• Self‑starter with strong work ethic
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Exceptional ability for documentation and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to review CAD drawings
• Experience utilizing Autobid, Bluebeam and Procore

• Full Time
• Salary $110k+ (based on experience, familiarity with estimating platforms, etc.)

• 7 years’ experience as HVAC/Commercial Plumbing Estimator

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• State of Georgia Plumbing License
• State of Georgia HVAC License
• State of Georgia Boiler License
• Additional HVAC certifications
