The Radiologic Technologist operates X-ray equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated body parts. Provides nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting. Performs various patient care duties within a multidisciplinary team, as delegated by the physician. Specific duties will be assigned based on competency, as determined by supervising physicians, clinical staff, and the Practice Coordinator.

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.

PREFERRED

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Two (2) years of patient care experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting.
• Expertise in ambulatory/physician office practice flow and activities; specialty-specific disease processes and conditions; in-office procedures; and patient education.
