Job Summary

Allen & Furr Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This full‑time hybrid position plays a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, supporting producers with quoting and marketing, and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of commercial lines coverage, enjoys building long‑term client partnerships, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Independently manage an assigned book of business, maintaining high levels of accuracy, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
  • Review, analyze, and update client insurance portfolios to ensure appropriate coverage and risk management strategies.
  • Manage or support quoting, marketing, and carrier submissions to ensure competitive and customized insurance solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners; demonstrate a solid understanding of carrier websites and appetites.
  • Manage renewals, endorsements, certificates, audits, and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and support agency growth initiatives.
  • Ensure all client activity and policy documentation is maintained in the agency management system (AMS
    360).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial lines account management within an independent agency setting
  • Knowledge of commercial lines coverage and a strong understanding of insurance policies
  • Familiarity with carrier websites, quoting systems, and appetite guides (preferred)
  • Experience in account management and customer service within the insurance industry
  • Proficiency with insurance software systems, AMS
    360 (preferred)
  • Ability to manage insurance accounts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Relevant insurance certifications or licenses are a plus
