Position Title: Warehouse Manager

Salary Range: $50-55k

Location: Roswell, GA

The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations for a flooring company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety in handling, storing, and distributing materials. This role manages a team of up to 10 employees and is responsible for optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory control, and supporting the company's commitment to high-quality service.

• Supervise, train, and motivate a warehouse team of up to 10 employees.
• Develop and implement work schedules to meet business needs.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional growth.

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of flooring products.
• Ensure warehouse processes meet company standards for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment.
• Coordinate with installers, sales teams, and logistics to ensure timely deliveries.

• Monitor and reconcile inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overages.
• Implement cycle counts and audits for accuracy.
  
  Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software to track materials.

• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety training and inspections.
• Report and investigate workplace incidents promptly.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs.
• Recommend and implement best practices in warehouse operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operations team.

• 3+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience, preferably in flooring, construction materials, or related industries.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of up to 10 people.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with warehouse management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Experience with flooring materials or home improvement products.
• Forklift certification or knowledge of warehouse equipment.
  
  Lean or Six Sigma experience for process improvements.
