Location: Roswell, GA
Schedule: 20-40 hours per week, weekdays only
Onsite position
Training period: approximately 8 weeks
Experience
Required:
2-3 years of relevant experience in addition to a high school diploma
We are seeking an innovative and reliable lab technician to test product dispensers and support troubleshooting related to customer concerns. This role involves hands-on mechanical work, collaboration with engineering teams, and participation in testing and improvement efforts.
Primary Responsibilities Deliverable #1:Product Testing
Support dispensing system testing for prototypes and commercial changes
Assist with building test setups and mounting units
Participate in test method development
Communicate test results and recommendations to engineering teams
Troubleshoot technical issues and support solution development
Issue Resolution
Analyze returned products to determine cause of issues
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions
Support resolution at customer locations when needed
Identify opportunities for mechanical and electrical improvements
Participate in creating instructional content for issue resolution
General Requirements
Maintain safety standards
Maintain tools and lab equipment
Keep the lab organized and professional
Learn product range and testing protocols
Coordinate shipping of materials when needed
Physical Requirements
Basic mechanical skills and use of hand tools
Basic electrical knowledge (batteries and low-voltage systems)
Ability to log data and operate testing systems on a computer
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs with equipment available to assist if needed
Comfortable working with low-voltage systems
Minimal travel may be required (less than 2%), primarily to local facilities.
