SGV joined the Eden Alternative on February 19, 2015. It is a senior living community that is home to 250 individuals located in downtown Roswell, GA.
Under the direct supervision of the Assisted Living shift supervisor, the caregiver provides assistance to the residents of Wellington Court rge Village with activities of daily living.
Core ExpectationsEducation and/or
Experience:
Level 4:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training in the geriatric field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language
Skills:
Level 4:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical
Skills:
Level 4:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Level 5:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Certificate, Current CPR/First Aid and Safety Training (preferred but not required).
