RN - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Night Shift

Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care specializes in Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. They practice according to established clinical standards, evidence-based practices, and professional ethics, ensuring individualized care that respects cultural diversity.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, focusing on patient goals and needs.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation.
• Promote evidence-based practice, participate in performance improvement, and support research activities.
• Serve as a mentor or preceptor to foster a competent and professional nursing workforce.
• Develop protocols and participate in resource management to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing;
  Bachelors preferred.
• Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; completion of accredited nursing program required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and adherence to professional standards.
