RN - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Night Shift

The RN Clinical Nurse in Acute Care specializes in Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

• Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual patient needs and involve patients and families in care planning.
• Coordinate safe, quality care through effective communication, documentation, and teamwork.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and participate in shared governance.
• Act as a preceptor or mentor, promoting professional development and fostering a healthy work environment.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.

• Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience post-graduation preferred; clinical hours completed during training are necessary.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
