The Food & Beverage team ensures a consistent experience for guests by managing product freshness, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signage. They lead replenishment, inventory, food safety, and other operations across all Food and Beverage areas.

As a Starbucks Barista, you will provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handmade beverages and managing food quality.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience and prioritize guests’ needs during all hours of operation.
• Uphold Food & Beverage Standards and execute food and beverage processes, including deliveries, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Follow Target and Starbucks routines to maintain a consistent experience.
• Support Starbucks Drive Up, ensuring digital orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to exceed expectations.
• Produce handcrafted beverages and food based on recipe cards.
• Follow all food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks as outlined.
• Identify and process damaged, recalled or expired items.
• Process in-stock orders and follow perishable inventory procedures.
• Execute sampling best practices and be knowledgeable about store products.
• Complete required training and certifications related to quality control.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, compliance, and support guest services such as back‑up cashier and OPU/DU.
• All other duties as required by business needs.

• Enjoy interacting with guests and teammates.
• Thrives in a fast‑moving, physically demanding role with teamwork, flexibility, and problem‑solving.
• Open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping periods.
• Previous Starbucks or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests.
• Ability to communicate via multiple devices, operate handheld scanners, and use other technology.
• Work independently and collaboratively to resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
• Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment, accomplishing multiple tasks within time frames.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise up to 44 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and flexible scheduling.
• Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from 34°F to –10°F and in environments with allergens.
• Remain mobile throughout scheduled shift and adapt to changing conditions.
