Retail Sales Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified retail sales representative to provide outstanding service to our retail partners and ensure their needs are met.

The position involves extensive day travel and occasional overnight stays. As our retail footprint expands within Big Box stores, we are looking for an entry-level sales/brand ambassador to represent our dealership at retail locations, trade shows, and other sales venues. Enthusiasm, effective communication, punctuality, and task follow-through are essential.

The role includes visiting, monitoring, and maintaining our in-store displays across at least 40-60 retail environments throughout our northern metro Atlanta Generac Generator Sales Territories. The candidate must be comfortable meeting with store managers and employees, and conducting popup training sessions with non-GSC team members.

You will be responsible for scheduling, setting up, and managing interactive product awareness booths and trade show events. A qualified candidate must possess excellent product knowledge and ensure our marketing displays are always fully stocked and organized at various locations.

Responsibilities of a Retail Sales Representative:

• Greeting customers
• Introducing customers to new products
• Informing customers about sales, discounts, and promotions
• Upselling and cross-selling products when appropriate
• Answering questions about products or services
• Stocking and organizing product racks
• Coordinating with team members to provide outstanding customer service

Retail Sales Representative

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BS degree in marketing or a related field is a plus
• Experience as a retail sales representative or similar role is a plus
• Familiarity with visual merchandising
• Ability to stock and restock shelves
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good organizational skills
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team
