Generator Supercenter is the nation’s leading Generac Residential and Light Commercial Generator Sales and Service company—and we’re expanding! We’re looking for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals who are ready to learn a highly valuable trade and grow their careers with us.

We're hiring a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair Generac generators. Whether you come from automotive, HVAC, electrical, or another hands-on background, this could be the right opportunity for you. Prior generator experience is a plus—but not required. We offer full training for the right candidate. Please note there are 3 certification levels.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain Generac standby generators

Perform preventative maintenance (oil/air filter changes, battery swaps, etc.)

Troubleshoot and resolve issues using error codes and schematics

Service equipment in the field with professionalism and efficiency

Provide excellent customer support and represent the brand with integrity

Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and customer interactions

Identify and communicate opportunities for additional services or repairs

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a technician, mechanic, or in a similar hands-on role

Solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics

Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment

Strong customer service and communication skills

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Willingness to travel locally to customer job sites

Valid driver’s license preferred
