Health & Wellness Specialist (On-Site EMT/Medic)

Join Job Site Care , a physician-led company transforming healthcare on construction sites. We’re looking for a proactive Health & Wellness Specialist (On‑Site Medic) to support the safety and well‑being of jobsite workers through injury prevention, on‑site medical support, and coordination with clinical teams. This unique opportunity allows working independently in the field while being backed by a supportive clinical team.

Location: Fort Sumner, NM

Pay: $23 per hour

Schedule: Day shifts, Monday–Friday (10‑hour shifts), some flexibility required.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and provide guided treatment under provider direction.
  • Support comprehensive case management through patient follow‑ups, referrals, and ongoing care coordination.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with patients, on‑site staff, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and communication.
  • Serve as a resource for psychosocial support, applying a peer support model to assist site personnel.
  • Lead proactive injury prevention initiatives, including “stretch and flex” programs and ergonomic coaching.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and care in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Ensure the on‑site medical facility remains clean, organized, and fully stocked with essential supplies.
  • Collaborate with jobsite safety teams by supporting orientations, trainings, and additional assignments.
Qualifications
  • BLS, CPR, First Aid required; EMT/NREMT preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 3–4 years of experience in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or a similar field.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to walk the job site for up to 5 hours daily.
  • Physical requirement: must be able to lift 25–50 pounds.
  • Adaptable, thrives in fast‑paced, independent work environments.
  • Strong communicator and team player, customer‑focused.
