Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele day shift position requiring a NM or compact RN license and weekend rotation.

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratios typically 1:6
• Day shifts consist of four 12-hour shifts, 6:00 to 18:30
• Every other weekend is required
• EPIC charting experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved, and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• EPIC charting experience preferred
