* Job Description:
** - Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting! - Night
Shift: 3x12 Hour (18:00 - 06:30) - No travel experience required; first-time travelers welcome! - Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1:2 ICU - Nights: 1:2 ICU - Weekends: 1:2 ICU - Daily Census:
- 0-2 ICU patients - 8-12 Med-Surg patients - Float
Required:
- Yes, to Med-Surg if no ICU patients - Rotating Weekend Shifts

* Key Responsibilities:
** - Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU - Utilize advanced skills in:
- IV therapy - Managing arterial lines - Blood product administration - Ventilator management - Titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips - Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy - Conduct thorough assessments and manage complex patient care situations - Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options

* Preferred Qualifications:
** - 1 year of nursing experience in ICU (preferred) - Certification in:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - Experience in teaching hospitals or community hospitals - Proficient in charting systems and documentation

* Skills:
** - Strong knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions - Experience in surgical wound care and management - Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias and cardiac monitoring - Capable of handling acute stroke management and respiratory interventions
** Work Environment:** - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - Total of 20 beds with 4 designated ICU rooms
