Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Implement and maintain electrical power circuits, equipment, control and automation systems, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pipeline, compressor stations, plant operations and measurement facilities.
- Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and PLC control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on all control systems.
- Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
- Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of analytical testing.
- Assist Corrosion and Engineering personnel with evaluation, development, implementation and maintenance of facility grounding systems.
- Take assessment testing to meet level progression.
- Install, analyze and repair security/intrusion systems.
- Maintain the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed.
- Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties.
- Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Complete appropriate documentation and record keeping.
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and company tariff requirements.
- Mentor fellow employees when the opportunity presents itself.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of employees, general public, and company assets.
- Respond to call-outs and work overtime as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma with 1-3 years of equivalent skills (instrumentation, automation, electrical controls) and experience.
- Working knowledge of National Electric Codes.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
- Knowledge of electronic test instruments and equipment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license that meets company insurability requirements.
- May be required to possess a commercial driver's license, drive a company commercial vehicle and comply with all commercial vehicle regulations.
- Will be required to achieve and maintain operator qualifications and may be required to obtain certifications as required to perform specific job duties.
- Strong focus on job to complete all assigned work tasks in a safe and accident-free manner.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, install software, adding drivers, etc.).
- Basic math skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules.
- Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, document and complete work with minimum supervision.

- Standing, walking and sitting while working either indoors or outdoors.
- Consistently lift a minimum of 20 lbs. at times in awkward positions.
- May have to lift (from floor to waist) and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders or stairs.
- Physical dexterity, hand/grip strength, depth perception, and other attributes that enable the employee to perform the job safely.
- Use of hand tools and equipment, repetitive hand use requiring grasp and twisting motions.
- Frequent entry into confined spaces, climb to and work from elevated platforms, ladders, and walkways.
- May periodically work in low-lit areas.
- Follow and adhere to all applicable PPE guidelines.
- Bear extreme weather conditions.
- Travel may be required depending on location and workload.
- Wear appropriate PPE.
- Work after hours, on-call nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must live within a reasonable response time (30 minutes) of reporting location.
- May be required to carry a company-provided communication device to respond during working and non-working hours.

- Intermediate computer skills.
- Associate degree in a technical field.
- Mechanical background or automotive certification.
- Experience with gas compression and mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of process controls and gas processing fundamentals.
- Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases and high/low pressure systems.
The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and background check after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
