Competitive We are seeking an experienced and organised Transport Administration Officer to support the effective delivery of a busy passenger transport operation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to ensuring operational excellence in transport management. Day-to-day of the role:
Transport Operations:
Coordinate daily operations, ensuring safe and efficient service. Act as a point of contact for service users and providers, resolving operational issues and maintaining high service standards. Transport Administration & Reporting:
Manage transport schedules, maintain accurate records, and produce reports to support operational decisions. Transport Provider Management:
Serve as the primary contact for transport providers, ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards. Fleet Administration:
Oversee vehicle bookings, maintenance, and compliance, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and audit-ready. Compliance & Record Management:
Maintain compliance records, support audits, and ensure operations align with legal requirements. Financial Administration:
Handle transport-related invoicing and budget monitoring. Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, ensuring timely updates and responses to service issues. Team Support:
Provide guidance and support to the Transport Administration Coordinator, promoting effective teamwork. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Essential
Experience:
Experience in transport, logistics, or fleet administration, with a strong focus on operational and compliance record-keeping. Desirable
Experience:
Experience in route planning, transport supplier management, or fleet compliance. Skills &
Competencies:
Excellent communication, strong organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
