IMH Recruitment are seeking a Logistics Administrator for our client in Rotherham. This is an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity, with an immediate start available.
Job Duties:- Manage transport schedules and truck utilisation
- Prepare paperwork for drivers
- Arrange shipping and collections
- Deal with daily calls and queries from the sales team
- Liaise with freight companies regarding transport issues and updates
- Manage holidays and arrange cover where required
- Process and follow up returns
- Check orders have been processed for dispatch
- Schedule truck and warehouse equipment maintenance
- Arrange warehouse staff training
- Manage courier claims for missed, late or damaged deliveries
- Book collections from customers and suppliers
- Complete other logistics and administrative tasks as required
- Previous experience in transport, logistics or administration is essential
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Good customer service experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am – 5:00pm
- £14-£15 per hour - salary is dependant on experience
- Immediate start required
