Interim, Part time hours Rotherham Music is seeking a Music Technology and DJ Skills Tutor to deliver high-quality, inclusive music education to children and young people across the borough. This role is ideal for someone passionate about music technology, DJ skills, and contemporary music-making, aiming to enrich lives through music. Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver music technology and DJ skills tuition to individuals, small groups, and classes.

Plan and deliver engaging sessions aligned with Rotherham Music quality standards.

Use music technology and DJ practice to support creativity, technical skill development, and musical progression.

Maintain high expectations for all pupils and take responsibility for learning outcomes.

Prepare effectively to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND.Complete online registers, submit termly planning, and regular assessments to track pupil progress.

Provide written reports on pupil progress to schools and parents as required.

Prepare pupils for internal and external accreditation or assessment where appropriate.

Qualifications:

Experience delivering tuition in music technology, DJ skills, or related contemporary music disciplines.

Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection in schools.

Grade 8 or above on principal instrument or equivalent professional experience.

Desirable:
Degree and/or teaching qualification.
