Route 1 print is the UK's largest online trade printer. We process around 10,000 jobs each week, consisting of over 11 million printed items that include anything from menus in your local restaurant, right the way through to curating stunning books for luxury brands. This is where you come in. We need someone who relishes the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, from handling both pre and post‑sale enquiries, right the way through to checking customer artwork to make sure it’s ready for print.

Route 1 Print puts significant emphasis on deploying the latest tech, enabling us to stay one step ahead of our competition. We were the first company in the world to invest in nanographic printing technology with the purchase of a Landa S10 (Wait until you see it, it's like a spaceship) we decided to do one better and get 2, with the latest S11P.

Because of this, you're going to be exposed to and use some exciting systems that allows artwork to flow through seamlessly, including the Adobe creative suite. Don't worry if you’ve not used it before, we are here to teach you.

The Role: A Dual-Impact Opportunity

We are looking for a unique individual who can provide outstanding customer service while possessing the technical eye to understand the mechanics of a print-ready file.

  • Working 3 communication channels, (call, email and live chat) providing outstanding customer service across all interactions.
  • Making it easy for our clients by resolving queries, understanding their needs, and taking advantage of opportunities for us to further support them with our products and services.
  • Utilising design software to help troubleshoot client files, ensuring they meet our high production standards.
  • Confidently handling and resolving customer complaints with a focus on technical accuracy and client satisfaction.
  • Using customer feedback to help inform strategic decisions.
  • Using AI tools within day-to-day role.
You:
The Perfect Blend of Service & Skill. You are a proactive communicator who doesn't just "talk" print, you understand it.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing environment is essential.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically In Design ) and Enfocus Pit Stop is highly desirable, but not essential. If you understand bleeds, margins, and CMYK, we want to hear from you.
  • The ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines, whilst still working with precision and a high level of attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator, whether you are explaining a technical artwork issue over the phone or building rapport via live chat.

Further information about the role;

  • Starting salary of £28,000 up to £34,646
  • Monday to Friday 9:00am-17:30pm (no weekend work)
  • 5 days fully office based.
  • Located in Manvers, Rotherham.
  • Weekly pay paid every Friday.
