£95-£120 per day | Full-time | Immediate Start

Reeson Education are looking for a confident, resilient and motivated Behaviour Mentor to support a specialist SEMH school in Rotherham, South Yorkshire
. This role is ideal for someone who can work with focus, consistency and professionalism while supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour linked to social, emotional and mental health needs.
This is a dedicated SEMH provision that provides a structured, calm and purposeful environment for pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support. Staff work with clear routines, strong teamwork and a solution‑focused approach to help students re‑engage positively with learning.
The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Deliver targeted SEMH and behaviour interventions to help pupils manage emotions and follow structured routines.
- Use de‑escalation and positive behaviour management to support safe, constructive decision‑making.
- Build professional, trusting relationships that promote independence, resilience and progress.
- Support staff and senior leaders to maintain a stable, predictable and safe learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents/carers and external agencies.
- Assist with behaviour plans, intervention records and progress reviews.
Team Teach training is beneficial, but not essential – full training will be provided free of charge.
Who We're Looking For- Experience in an SEMH school, PRU, alternative provision or behaviour support role (or strong transferable skills).
- Calm, consistent and confident under pressure.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Able to follow behaviour plans, maintain boundaries and apply clear expectations.
- Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting positive outcomes for young people.
- Understanding of safeguarding and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS.
- £95‑£120 per day (depending on experience)
