Base pay rangeWe are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Pre-Employment Construction Tutor to join our existing team.
Responsibilities- Teaching, learning and development of learners, delivering high‑quality teaching, assessment and support.
- Deliver pre‑defined curriculum to a very high standard, develop knowledge, skills and behaviours of learners.
- Completion of all learner and course related documentation including learner files and relevant tracking documents.
- Mentor, observe and assess learners in classroom or workshop, providing feedback and guidance.
- Offer information, advice, and guidance to promote learner development and progression.
- Assess learners’ e‑portfolio of evidence to verify achievements.
- Provide delivery cover at our Academies and Pop‑Up Academies in South Yorkshire region; regular travel required.
- Meet company, funding & awarding organisation requirements.
- Classroom‑based delivery experience.
- Experience working with a diverse range of learners.
- IT literate.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Abide by processes.
- Enthusiasm in the workplace.
- Work well under pressure.
- Current, relevant occupational expertise and knowledge gained through hands‑on experience in the Construction industry with Level 3 competencies.
- Evidence of continued professional development within the occupational sector.
- Teaching qualification at a minimum of PTLLS or Level 3 AET.
- Assessor award or qualification.
- Level 3 qualification or occupational competence.
- Mathematics and English qualifications at Level 2 or above.
