GSL Education is looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join secondary schools in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who can bring literature to life, inspire creativity, and help students develop strong communication skills that will shape their futures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Foster a love for literature, writing, and critical thinking in the classroom.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to support students of all abilities.
• Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in English.
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and exam preparation strategies.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
