Teach Match Recruitment is seeking a compassionate, resilient, and highly adaptable Key Stage 1 Teacher to join one of our partner SEMH provisions for a long-term supply role from February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional social, emotional, and behavioural needs within nurturing, small-group settings.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, nurturing, and differentiated lessons suited to pupils with SEMH needs.
Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils, promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Teach within small group settings, adapting approaches to meet individual learning and wellbeing needs.
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to create a consistent, therapeutic learning environment.
Implement personalised behaviour and learning plans, keeping detailed records of pupil progress.
Contribute to a safe, structured, and emotionally secure environment that prioritises each child's wellbeing.
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A strong understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum expectations.
A nurturing, patient, and trauma-informed approach to teaching.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in SEMH, SEND, or behaviour support is highly desirable.
Passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and emotionally.
