Teacher Active is looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist SEND school in Rotherham. This particular setting is a vibrant, stimulating, and supportive community for pupils aged 2 19 with severe and profound and/or multiple learning difficulties. Spread across two specialist sites in Rotherham, each location is designed to meet individual pupil needs through tailored curriculum pathways and access to a wide variety of educational and therapeutic activities.

Pupils are supported through carefully planned transitions across all Key Stages
, with EHCPs guiding their educational journey. Strong collaboration with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams ensures that every child s needs are met and their full potential unlocked.

Looking for more variety? We work with settings all across South Yorkshire that support children and young people from EYFS through to Post-16
, with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and PMLD.

• Level 2/3 Qualified in supporting children (desirable)
• Experienced in working with children/adults who have SEND (essential)
• Calm, patient, and caring in their approach
• Confident with behaviour management strategies
• Knowledgeable about child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experienced in supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis
