As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be the steady presence in the room when teachers are away. No planning marathons. No late-night marking. Just clear instructions, confident delivery, and keeping learning on track.

We’re working with welcoming secondary schools in Rotherham looking for confident, organised individuals who can step in, lead a classroom, and keep things moving.

If you’ve got presence, common sense, and a calm approach, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll be doing :

Supervising pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4

Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and clarity

Ensuring students stay focused and complete set work

Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of the day

Supporting pupils who need a little extra guidance

You won’t be expected to teach new content.

Your role is about consistency, structure, and creating a calm learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
