We are looking for an English teacher to lead lessons in a dedicated SEN setting across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will adapt novels, non‑fiction and spoken language tasks for young people with diverse learning profiles, from dyslexia to social communication difficulties, and remove barriers to literacy while celebrating small victories daily.

- Demonstrates experience differentiating creative writing, reading comprehension and functional English.

- Collaborates confidently with teaching assistants, speech therapists and families.
- Possesses an active DBS on the Update Service or commits to obtaining one.
Lead and deliver English lessons for students in a SEN provision, adapting materials and assessments to meet individual learning needs.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, speech‑language therapists and parent representatives to support each child’s progress.
Use low‑stakes assessment and tailored feedback to monitor and support learning outcomes.
