Unique School Solutions are supporting a Primary School in the S65 area of Rotherham to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and
4). The role involves supporting children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher to support students with the Key Stage 2 curriculum and developmental targets.
Support learning in lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and
4) by assisting small groups and providing 1:1 support as directed by the class teacher. Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment and help students achieve developmental targets aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
The Role
- Previous experience working within a school (mainstream or special)
- Key Stage 2 experience
- Good understanding of the lower KS2 curriculum
- The ability to build rapport with young learners
- The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using own initiative
- The ability to support small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- The support of an experienced team of specialist consultants with a dedicated point of contact from start to finish
