Milk Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator to teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their scientific knowledge, curiosity, and understanding of the world around them.

This full-time role is available for an immediate start or from September 2026.

• Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons that inspire curiosity and a passion for learning
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student achievement
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Teach a broad Science curriculum across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4
• Promote practical scientific investigation and develop students’ analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ensure all practical activities are carried out safely and in accordance with school health and safety procedures
• Support enrichment opportunities, including STEM initiatives, science clubs, trips, and extracurricular activities where appropriate
• Collaborate with colleagues and wider school staff to enhance student outcomes
• Maintain high professional standards and uphold the values of both the school and Milk Education

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of varying abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education
