Part of this role is grant funded for 12 months, part time, 22.2 hours per week, term time only.

Rotherham Music provides music education to more than 3,000 children and young people each week across a range of musical disciplines for both in and out of school education. Alongside its provision for children and young people the service also supports a range of community music programmes from its Mini Melodies programme for pre‑school children and its annual Signals music festival.
Rotherham Music is looking for a vocal tutor who has the experience to work with local schools to enable them to run their own choirs in order to meet the desire to have A Choir in Every School. This will be alongside some vocal tuition.
Qualifications and Experience- Experience of providing musical activities to children and young people in schools and settings.
- Experience of developing resources to support a music education programme.
- Experience of lesson planning, assessment and reporting.
- Ability to lead collaborative music activities for a variety of audiences.
