PK Education Sheffield is partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary academy in Rotherham to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. The role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs to access the curriculum, build positive relationships, and develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Provide tailored support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Work on a one-to-one basis and with small intervention groups.
• Support the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• Help create a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment.

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN within a school or similar setting.
• Patient, empathetic, and passionate about helping children achieve their best.
• Ability to adapt approach to meet individual learning needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
