Rotherham SEND Teaching Assistant

Full‑time position in Rotherham to support children with special educational needs and disabilities in a primary school setting.

• Support pupils with a range of SEND both in and out of the classroom.
• Deliver targeted interventions and provide one‑to‑one or small group support where required.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement individual learning plans.
• Encourage pupil engagement, independence and confidence.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and SEND policies at all times.

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a UK primary school.
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or Level
  3) desirable but not essential with suitable experience.
• Caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

• Competitive Pay: £85.44 to £110 per day (dependent on experience, qualifications and responsibilities).
