The RoleAs an Early Career Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons that inspire a love of learning.
- Create a positive, safe and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.
- Assess, monitor and evaluate pupil progress to ensure all children achieve their potential.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND and those requiring additional support or challenge.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.
- Engage fully with the Early Career Framework (ECF) programme and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Essential
- Will achieve or already holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has a passion for inspiring and motivating young learners.
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and an understanding of effective teaching and learning.
- Has high expectations for all pupils and believes every child can succeed.
- Is reflective, resilient and committed to continual professional development.
- Works collaboratively and values being part of a supportive team.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Experience teaching during school placements across the primary age range.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Experience of supporting inclusive practice and meeting the needs of diverse learners.
- Knowledge of effective phonics and early reading strategies.
