Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a leading education and training provider seeking an experienced Hairdressing Lecturer to join their successful Hair and Beauty team.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of hairdressing and barbering professionals, delivering engaging lessons across Levels 1 to 3 and helping learners achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Hairdressing and Barbering programmes from Level 1 to Level 3
- Prepare, plan and assess learner work
- Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement
- Support internal quality assurance activities
- Contribute to curriculum development and learning resources
- Participate in competitions, enrichment activities and employer engagement
- Deliver occasional evening, weekend and school link provision
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing and Barbering
- Industry experience within the hair and beauty sector
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification
- Assessor Award qualification
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Knowledge of awarding bodies such as VTCT is advantageous
- Strong communication, organisational and team working skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
