This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

The school has a strong focus on inclusion and provides excellent support for both pupils and staff, making it an ideal environment for someone passionate about SEND education.

The Role

  • Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their individual learning goals.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement personalised support plans.

  • Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

  • Use positive behaviour management strategies to encourage engagement and independence.

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to individual pupil needs.

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level
    3) is desirable but not essential.
