Mainstream SEN Teaching Assistant - Rotherham Do you have experience supporting children with additional needs and want to make a real difference in a mainstream classroom? Academics are looking for a dedicated Mainstream SEN Teaching Assistant to work across mainstream schools in Rotherham. This role would suit a caring and adaptable Mainstream SEN Teaching Assistant who can support pupils with SEN while helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Temporary, flexible ongoing supply Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

ASAP / September About the Role As a Mainstream SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with additional needs within mainstream schools across Rotherham. Support may be provided on a 1:1 basis, in small groups or as part of the wider classroom, depending on the needs of each school and pupil. The Mainstream SEN Teaching Assistant will work alongside class teachers and SEN staff to encourage positive learning, independence and engagement.

Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs would be particularly beneficial.
