KS1 Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a full-time KS1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-supported primary school in Rotherham from September 026. This is a long-term temporary role until December 2026. The school is part of a large, forward-thinking trust known for its strong leadership, collaborative ethos, and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. Ideally, the school is looking for an experienced practitioner who can make an immediate, positive impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons for KS1
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment
• Work closely with colleagues across the trust to support curriculum consistency
• Contribute to wider school life, including events and enrichment activities

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching within KS1
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and early learning pedagogy
• Twoeducation or school-based references
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-school trust
