We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming school in the Rotherham area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their career in a positive and engaging school environment.

As a Secondary Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons within your subject area.
• Follow the relevant GCSE and/or A-Level curriculum where applicable.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support students to achieve their academic and personal potential.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for their subject.
• Has excellent classroom-management and communication skills.
• Can motivate and inspire students of different abilities.
• Is committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Works effectively as part of a team.
• Is reliable, enthusiastic and professional.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
