Overview
Junior Automation Engineer (TIA Portal / Step 7 Programming) £30,000 - £35,000 (OTE 50K) + International Projects + 5K Bonus + Training + Hybrid + Progression
Rotherham, International Travel
- Program Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal or Step7) in an office environment, then travel to site to test and commission.
- Become a specialist in bespoke controls solutions for the metal forging industry and act as a technical expert.
- Receive 1-on-1 training with senior team members for the first 6 months, followed by involvement on international projects.
- Provide technical assistance and retrofit services to OEMs and global metal manufacturers as part of a specialist consultancy.
- Knowledge of programming Siemens PLCs (TIA Portal or Step7).
- Looking for a role that offers international travel and progression opportunities.
- Interested in training to become a go-to technical authority while earning bonuses for commissioning abroad.
- Suitable for a Junior Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, or similar with TIA Portal programming knowledge.
