Job Description     Join Our Team as a Quantity Surveyor!  Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Building Solutions South team in the vibrant city of Sheffield .

08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours a week)

This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in managing commercial resources and maximizing our planned gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management. You’ll be working both on-site and in the office for 3+ days a week, contributing to the delivery of high-quality projects. Your Responsibilities  As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our Building Solutions North team, supporting the delivery of exceptional projects for our key strategic clients.

Your daily tasks will include:
Managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
Tendering, evaluating, and appointing subcontractors, along with placing orders for materials and plant.
Identifying, evaluating, and negotiating variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
Producing monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, while managing cash flows.
What We’re Looking For  This role is perfect for you if you:
Possess strong communication skills and have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
Hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.
Exhibit excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Are flexible and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
